What is the collection list section?
The collection list section provides the opportunity to highlight specific collections across various areas of your store. It can be a very useful tool to showcase the range of collections that are available, helping customers to explore items for sale more easily. By enhancing product discovery, it can also support increased engagement and may drive additional sales.
How to create a collection list section
Steps
- Open the Theme editor
- Add a Collection list section and in the main settings input the section Heading.
- Click on one of the existing blocks or choose Add Collection to add a new block. Click Select to add collections.
- Repeat this process until all the required collections have been added.
- Click Save.
The main collection image will be shown or, if the collection has no image, the first product image will be shown instead. The Thumbnail image shape and image crop can be configured in Theme settings > Collection grid.
