What is the contact page?
The contact page allows customers to send a message directly to you, and allows you to engage with your customers and answer their queries.
How to set up the contact page
Steps
- Open the Theme Editor.
- Select Pages > contact from the dropdown at the top.
- In the Template section on the left-hand side of the screen, the Contact form section is already installed on the page. This section enables customers to input their Name, Email and Message details and send a direct message to merchants.

FAQs
How do get additional content to show on my contact form?
Go to the Shopify admin area and assign specific page content to the contact template. This feature will only be available if Showcase is the published theme. This content will then show above the contact form section. Refer to Shopify's page article for more information.
Where do I see the emails?
Emails will go to your email address as added in the Shopify admin area, in Settings > Notifications > Sender email.
Why am I not receiving emails?
The sending of emails is controlled by Shopify and is therefore unlikely to be an issue with the theme (unless an App has modified the theme behaviour). You can verify this by installing Shopify's default Dawn theme as a draft theme and trying to use the contact form. If you do receive an email, an app or a developer has most likely done something to break the contact form on Showcase. If this still doesn't work, you can contact Shopify Support directly for further assistance.
