What is the contact form section?
The Contact form is a useful section that enables customers to input their details and send a message directly to the merchant. Several blocks can be customised to ensure that the most appropriate information is captured, enabling merchants to respond to customer queries efficiently.

How to set up a contact form
Steps
- Open the Theme Editor and in the Template group, add the Contact form section.
- In the Content settings, an Image can be added that will show at the top of the section.
- The Name, Email and Message input fields come as standard, and can be further customized in the Layout settings.
- Select Add block and select as many blocks as needed to build the desired form. In the Phone and Custom input blocks, decide which ones should be Required.
- Note, in the Custom input block, ensure that the label is unique. There are six input type options to choose from:
In the Style settings, the color scheme can be selected. If None is selected, the page background color will show as the section background and the buttons will take the primary and secondary colors chosen in Theme Settings > Colors. If a Color scheme is selected, the section background and the buttons will take the colors selected in the Section color scheme in Theme Settings.

FAQs
Can I add a checkbox?
No, a checkbox is not available in the Alchemy theme. An alternative to this may be to add a dropdown box and have the options listed as Yes and No.
Where do I see the emails?
Emails will go to your email address as added in the Shopify admin area, in Settings > Notifications > Sender email.
Can I change the subject line?
You can't change the subject line for emails sent through a contact form on a Shopify store.
