What is the popup section?

The Popup section is an incredibly versatile section that has fast become a mainstay of many Online Stores. It can be added to the Overlay Group for site-wide messaging and can help deliver key messages or requests to potential customers.

How to set up a popup

Steps

  1. Open the Theme Editor.
  2. In the Overlay group click Add section and select Popup. 
  3. There is a choice of three Display modes and settings where the Delay, Frequency and Position of the popup can be specified.
  4. In the Content settings, Heading, Text and Image fields can be selected.
  5. By default, in the Newsletter settings, the Show newsletter signup and the Show social media icons settings are preselected. In order for the Social media icons to show, they need to be set up first in Theme settings > Social media.
  6. Click Save when the section set up is complete.
