Add an announcement bar to highlight important information about your business.
What is the announcement bar?
The announcement bar is a small section anchored to the top of the store. It can be used to promote the latest offers, provide links to specific areas or communicate short messages to customers such as:
- any shipping delays or regions not accepting international shipments
- any new or updated policy pages
- any promotions being offered at this time, such as sales or new gift cards
How to set up the announcement bar
Steps
- Open the Theme Editor and find the Announcement bar section.
- A short announcement message can be added. Click Show announcement, choose whether to show it on the Home page only and add the required content, Text and Link.
- Choose the Background color, and desired Text color.
