The Canopy theme supports product labels on the home and collection pages.
There is only space for one to show at a time, so there is a priority in which these are shown.
- Sold out - shows when Shopify manages the inventory and customers cannot purchase out of stock items
- Sale - shows if a product's compare at price is set higher than its actual price.
- X left in stock - only for items with a single variant
- New In - shown for new products. Set the limit using the theme settings.
So if the 'Sold out' label is shown, this takes priority over all other labels.
Note 1: In versions prior to 2.8.3, the 'Sale' label took priority.
Note 2: In versions prior to 2.10.0 the 'New in' label was not available.
Note 3: A custom text label could be used by adding a tag to the product using the format
meta-label-YOUR LABEL. This feature was removed in November 2019 and is no longer available.
The button backgrounds/link text color is used extensively in the store. This makes it a great choice for your core brand accent color. On hover the color will become lighter to provide user feedback.
The Canopy theme includes the option for a site border. Make this transparent to have no border!
TIP! Choose a transparent color for the homepage row dividers and the space between your homepage sections will be reduced.
The Canopy theme is available in 3 styles - Elda, Thread and Kiln. These demo stores aim to illustrate the variety of looks possible with the theme. Choose your theme style in the Theme Settings tab. The style settings will affect cross-store elements such as your fonts, cart behaviour and social media icons.
