What does your free theme support cover?
The Clean Canvas team can provide help with theme settings and anything included in the original theme. However, we are not able to help with custom coding changes as part of our free support. Should you wish to change your theme code, there are lots of experienced Shopify developers available for hire. More about our Shopify theme support can be read here.

What's happening to Instagram feeds in themes?
As of March 31, 2020, Instagram will be making a change to how it connects to Shopify. This will mean that the Instagram feed displayed on your online store through your theme will no longer display images in the way it is currently set up. This will only impact the Instagram feed which has been added to your store through the Theme Editor and does not affect any of your sales channels like the Instagram Channel. This Shopify article explains more.
Shopify product reviews
Our themes include built-in code to support Shopify product reviews (apps.shopify.com/product-reviews) on the home page, product pages and collection pages. If you add the free Shopify reviews app, the theme will automatically show them.
Can I add other fonts?

How do I make my slideshow images smaller?
Our images mostly scale horizontally to fill the width of your site design (not always the full width of the browser), but you can alter the amount of screen your slideshow occupies by adjusting the relative height of your images. Some themes have different methods of scaling too, like our Showcase theme, which has options for filling the entire browser window.
Don't forget to make your image sizes consistent across all the slides!

These can easily be achieved with apps, there are plenty of completely free options for pop-ups :)

Mailchimp and other 3rd party email integrations
There isn't a way for us to provide 3rd party email platform integration into the theme code (there are many providers, and we are not permitted to 'favourite' one over another). You'll need to use an app or hire a developer to synchronise your newsletter signups with your chosen provider. Search, for example, for 'Mailchimp' in the Shopify app store.

Customers will always have to checkout in your store's base currency unless you are on the Shopify Plus plan, or your store is using Shopify Payments.
