What are custom labels?

Apply custom labels to your products to emphasize unique attributes. New in, Limited edition, Bestseller, Organic etc. They help signpost your products and give customers a visual indicator of their USP.

How to set up custom labels

Steps

  1. To start, choose a custom label name, such as New In.
  2. Then, from your Admin, go to Products and select the product on which to apply the label. On the right-hand side Product organization area, in Tags, add a new tag with the format meta-label-label title, for example, meta-label-New In.

  3. The tag should display like this on your storefront:

  4. You can also change the colour of your label in the Theme Editor by going to Theme settings > Colors > Custom label background.
