What is the announcement bar
The Announcement bar is a distinct area from the Header section and can include important announcements and convenient features like language/currency options and social media links.
How to set up the announcement bar
Steps
- Open the Theme Editor and find the Announcement.
- Enable Show announcement, add a short message, and choose whether to show it on the Homepage only.
- Enable or disable Show social media links. Add your account urls in Theme settings > Social media.
- The COUNTRY/REGION SELECTOR and LANGUAGE SELECTOR can also be set. For the correct information to be shown here, the Languages and Markets must be set up in the Shopify admin area.

Note
On mobile devices, the COUNTRY/REGION SELECTOR and the LANGUAGE SELECTOR will feature at the bottom of the navigation.
