Considerations for food collection/delivery

Canopy (as is the case with all themes on the Theme Store) does not provide any controls for arranging food delivery/pickup times. There are delivery/pickup apps on the app store which can offer this and can integrate with the cart – although we’re unable to recommend any particular one. Please be sure to contact the app developers with any queries with regards to integrating the apps into the theme, as we have no expertise in that.

These apps normally charge per month, and this should be factored into your budget before purchasing our theme.

If your requirements aren’t too complex, you may be able to use the ‘Cart notes’ on the cart page. To enable this, in Theme Customizer, change to the Cart > Cart page > Check ‘Enable cart notes’. The label for the cart notes can then be changed in the language editor to, ‘When would you like delivery? (ASAP)’ for example. Or this could be ‘Do you have any allergies?’, for example.

Canopy offers support for Shopify’s standard Store Pickup which may also help.
