Home page sections

To see the full list of home page section types simply click on Add Section whilst viewing your store home page in the theme customizer.

Home page sections can be added, hidden or re-arranged to best fit your store. Choose to show blog posts, products, collections, images, text, videos, slideshows or a map on your homepage in any order you like.

Products on your home page

The Boost Shopify theme is all about your products. We’ve included a number of ways you can show off your products on the home page in addition to the usual collection rows.

You can add and position product labels directly onto images in many different sections.  Choose the position and layout you prefer, add an arrow if you wish, set a background color or set the background to be transparent to just show the product title and price.

The “Get the look” section allows you to link up to 6 products with a single image – so you can explain to customers how to recreate a given style or product configuration.

By including a link to a product in your blog article content, the Boost Theme will extract that link and show the product at the end of the article, so that your visitors can easily see and buy the products that they’ve just been reading about.  We’ve called this feature “Shop the story”.

TIP! A maximum of 20 unique products can be featured in this way on the homepage (blog, get the look, featured product and image product labels).  This limit does not include products that are displayed as part of the featured collections.
Boost supports up to 25 homepage sections. This is a limit set by Shopify and not the theme. We can not override this. For more information, you can check out their support article on sections through this link.
