Product variants can be selected using a dropdown or list.
With the listed layout, unavailable options (where all variants for that option are unavailable) will be shown as crossed out.
Swatches can also be shown on the product page with the colors either taken from files added to your store or using css color codes.
The theme also includes the option to link to a size chart.
Speed up purchases by enabling quick-buy so shoppers can add items to the cart directly from a collection page or the homepage. The dynamic checkout button allows customers to go direct to the checkout with that item bypassing the cart page entirely.
Use the title and price position setting to choose whether to show product thumbnail title and price on hover or under the image. On smaller screens the title and price will always be shown under the image.
The Symmetry theme supports product labels on the home and collection pages for on sale items, sold out items and items with low stock.
There is only room for one to show at a time, so there is a priority in which these are shown:
- Sold out
- Sale Shows if a product’s compare at price is set higher than its actual price
- X left in stock Shows on listing page for single variant products
Use the setting show second image on hover to show two product images on your collection and home pages.
To create a contact page, add a page to your store and choose the template page.contact.
Page content will be shown on the left hand side of the page (on larger screens) and the contact form will be on the right. If your contact page has no content, the form will be centred. (Note: theme versions prior to 4.11 had a separate page.contact-centered template)
The text on the contact page form can be changed in the Shopify Language Editor.
The Symmetry theme is available in 4 styles – Chantilly, Salt Yard, Beatnik and Duke. These demo stores aim to illustrate the variety of looks possible with the theme. Choose your theme style in the Theme Settings tab. The style settings will affect cross store elements such as your fonts, cart behaviour and social media icons.
